Siri Tamu Shamba grew organically as a place of sanctuary and peaceful reflection. What began as a personal refuge gradually became a welcoming space for artists, visionaries, seekers, and anyone longing to slow down and reconnect.
Surrounded by nature, every gathering, conversation, and shared experience reflects a simple belief: healing begins when we make space to truly know ourselves and one another.

SIRI TAMU EVENTS
Chechemeko Circle
Chechemeko Circle brought together elders and youth through the timeless rhythms of Giriama drumming, traditional songs, and dance. Celebrating culture, identity, and community, the event strengthened connections across generations. Organised by Martin of Sayari Creatives, Wanjiru, and music producer Ngatia, it honoured heritage through shared music, movement, and storytelling.
Kids Yoga & Tai Chi
Kids Yoga & Tai Chi introduced children to mindful movement, conscious breathing, and self-defence in a fun and encouraging environment. Guided by Makena and Ngatia, participants explored stretches, breathing techniques, and basic Tai Chi principles, ending the session with an inspiring Tai Chi demonstration that encouraged curiosity and confidence.
Back to Love celebrated Valentine's Day with the inspiring theme, "Be Your Own Valentine." Families and friends gathered to share food, laughter, and community. Children received gifts and sweets, while a shared goat feast brought everyone together. The evening came alive with a DJ set by Ngatia and a captivating fire acrobat performance by Martin MotoMoto.

The gathering brought together readers, family, and friends—including Wanjiru's family from the UK—to share heartfelt conversations on parenthood, sacrifice, resilience, and legacy.
Double Book Launch celebrated the release of Ruraya by Wanjiru Gichigi and Silent Strength of a Dad by Abigael Claris Adhiambo at Mwembe Resort, Malindi.
