THE GICHIGI-SHAKO SCHOOL OF CREATIVE ARTS & TECHNOLOGY
Growing curious minds through learning, creativity, and community.
Founded and guided by Wanjiru Wacharo, a qualified primary school teacher certified during her years in the United Kingdom, The Gichigi-Shako School of Creative Arts & Technology is a supplementary learning space dedicated to supporting local children in their educational journey.
The school was created from a simple belief: that every child deserves an environment where learning is inspiring, practical, and rooted in curiosity. Alongside academic subjects, children are encouraged to discover their creativity, develop confidence, and build meaningful connections with their community.
Inspired by the values of Siri Tamu Shamba, the school nurtures not only knowledge but also self-awareness, cultural appreciation, and a lifelong love of learning.

Whether your gift is large or small, it helps open doors for local children to grow through education, movement, music, and the arts.
